  Design Team

Hello Everyone,

My name is Tanya Briggs and I'm 33 years old. I am a SAHM to 2 beautiful girls, Alexia and Kayla. They are my subjects of choice for my pages. I have been married to my high school sweatheart since 1999, but we have been together since 1990! My husband is very supportive of my scrapbooking, and loves to look through my albums and comment on my new pages.

I discovered scrapbooking by accident while watching TV. I was looking for a hobby I could do while my husband worked nights. Now, whether my husband is home or not, I scrap! It has become a real passion. Scrapbooking has allowed me to leave my daughters a personal and intimitate account of their life, from me to them, and thid means so much to me. I am a now a dedicated 12x12 scrapper, as most of my early work was 8.5x11. This new switch has allowed me to discover a new way of working.

I am very happy to be part of this team. Being a member of Scrapmode is something very special to me. It will obviously be a very big challenge as well. I am so very pleased to be able to share my work with you in gallery.

Hello, my name is Virginie Socquet and I am almost 30 years old and the proud mother of my two princesses, Clara and Capucine. They are my main source of inspiration. I am also so very lucky to have a wonderful husband that supports my crazy scrapbooking addiction. I have been scrapbooking for over a year and a half and not a day goes by that I don't think about this wonderful pastime.

I love to travel, even if it's juste for a few day escapade, all in the hopes of trying to capture that perfect photo for my scrapbooking page. Scrapbooking responds to all the joys and souvenirs that I collect while on vacation.

I am very happy to be a part of the Scrapmode Design Team. It will be a new challenge for me, that will push y creative limits while working with such a wonderful product.

My name is Pascale, and I am 35 yeras old. mother to Ophélie (14years old) and Axel (8 years old) qI have been scrapbooking for over 6 years now, but I took my time in order to find my true personal style. Today, I have discovered that the style that most makes me feel comfortable, is very graphic and linear.

I am very excited to be a part of Scrapmode's design team and I hope I will be able to share with you my work that will inspire you to create pages of your own.

I have been scrapping for 10 years now.  I love to scrapbook my family.  I have been married to my best friend, Don, for 8 years now.  We have a 2 year old daughter named Sydnee.  We also have a Saint Bernard named Sadie.  Of course I scrap the “big” moments, but I mainly just scrap those special everyday moments.  My family is the main reason I scrap, and they are the main subjects of my layouts.  I work mainly in my 12x12 albums that are chronological.  However, I have an 8x8 All About Me Album, an 8x8 garden album, and I also have a couple of 6x6 recipe albums.  I am a fifth grade teacher by profession with my summers off.  I am so excited to be working with Scrapmode's products!

My published work: Legacy magazine picked up a layout but did not specify which issue. Creative Cards Volume 4 : card on page 98;  Blueprints : 4 layouts Printed May 06; PaperArt Jan/Feb/March 06 issue, page 30; Cantata books:  I have a layout due in their 1 - 2 -3 Easy book to be in print in January.

My name is Judith Mara, and I'm delighted to be part of the Scrapmode design team. I live in New England with my husband, Dean, and our two boys, Alexander and Nate. We live in an old Victorian farmhouse with a sheepdog named Samantha and two overfed goldfish. I've worked in book publishing for about twenty years, mostly as a freelance editor.

I began scrapping soon after my youngest son was born. I thought it would be a good hobby to occupy myself with during the long snowy winters when my garden is off-limits. Little did I know that I would soon be spending many more hours scrapbooking than gardening, even during fine weather.

I scrapbook about my family, including the dog, our travels, and our activities. I love trying new techniques, and I'm inspired by advertisements and other types of graphic design, cool new products, and great photos and stories. I hope you find some inspiration in my work.

On a cold Colorado winter morning in 1997 I was in Costco with my newborn daughter buying diapers, milk, and shampoo. While I'm at Costco it's imperative that I stop by the book tables. I was harmlessly strolling up one side of the aisle and back down the other, casually thumbing through cookbooks, looking at recipes that I didn't have time to do, smiling at all the Dr. Seuss books that one day I'd be reading to my daughter, racking my brain trying to remember if I had already read the latest John Grisham book or not. That's when I saw something that stopped me in my tracks. It was a big colorful box and it had the words "Scrapbook Kit. Everything You Need To Complete An Album" on the cover. I was intrigued. Everything I thought? I looked at the description closer. Stickers, glue stick, die cuts, album, paper, scissors, and page protectors. Yup, it had everything. Without even a second thought in to the cart it went. That purchase changed my life forever. I've been scrapping since 1997 and love the creative process that it allows me to have. I love to look at products and challenge myself to use them in a new and exciting way. When I'm not scrapping I'm a wife, a mom, a teacher and a friend. Life is busy but fulfilling.
